I was hoping to get a lesson, but now that there's a competition coming up at the rink, everyone needs the coaches to do their programs, and my coach is the skate director so when she decided they needed another Alpha class, she got stuck teaching it because she couldn't find another coach. I guess there's more money for the coaches in the private lessons.
Decided to work on my FI3s. I wanted to do them at speed and gracefully. An hour of nothing but FI3s has made them much, much better, which then made my FI3/BO3 so very much better. FO3/BI3s are starting to work.
I think I'm going to get a book or DVD with moves so I don't need a coach just to learn a new sequence. It's not what I want, but I have some control over what I'm learning. Then when I can get a coach I think the time will be more productive. |
