It makes a nice shrug
I finished the wispy Christmasy skirt yesterday and if wear a black tank top and drape it across my shoulders it makes a really cute cape/shrug. Seriously. As a skating skirt... I don't know. Since it's gathered it makes me look fat, and I'm not fat. The stretchy black pants by themselves look better. I still have high hopes for the beaded beige fabric, especially since it will be straight and not gathered, just short. I used to love wearing mini-skirts when I was really thin. I'm not actually that self-conscience. Just vain. I'm 45 and it's hard to get the right mix between cute and too young looking.
