Thanks to end of semester nonsense, I as unable to skate at all the first two weeks of December. I did skate twice last week, including a lesson with Coach L. She is chomping at the bit for me to test PreBronze Free to get it out of the way, and I know I should, I just am so busy that committing such a large chunk of a weekend day to a test session is difficult. Skated on Tuesday and was supposed to have another lesson today (Thursday) but we are having OMGKILLERSTORM warnings, and it is currently sleezing (freezing sleet) which makes driving horrific, so will probably not venture to make the 1 hr (each way) drive to the rink. Boo.
There is a teensy little outdoor rink about 20 minutes from my house. I may give that a try this coming week with my old skates. We'll see how stir crazy I get!
